"King's Rochester - a historic school where happy individuals study and flourish".

Founded in 604 AD, King’s Rochester is the second oldest school in the UK and the oldest Choir School in the world. It occupies a spectacular site between Rochester’s 12th century Castle and Cathedral on the banks of the River Medway in Kent, South East England but is just 25 minutes by train from the centre of London and around an hour from Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

We educate around 650 girls and boys from 3 to 18 with boarders joining us from 11. A combination of ancient traditions and 21st century, state of the art facilities, King’s is a unique place to study. King’s pupils enter top universities and conservatoires every year to read for degrees from Engineering to Economics and Maths, Medicine and Pure Sciences to Music, Arts and Industry-led degrees.
