Cardiff Sixth Form College is on multiple social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and has a website with key information and contact details - www.ccoex.com

We aspire to foster a genuine passion for learning in our students. Our teaching aims to make students think for themselves. We believe this sets our students apart from the crowd, leading to excellent results year-on-year.

Academic:
At the college students can choose from a wide range of A-levels, an intensive one year GCSE course or a one term taster course which aims to introduce international students to British culture, improve their English skills and give them a taste of what they can expect if they choose to join Cardiff Sixth Form College’s A-Level programme.

The institution offers a summer school with the choice of three programmes: academic summer programme, Oxbridge preparation programme and medical school preparation. If a student is unable to travel over to the college they can enrol in a Cardiff Sixth Form College study camp in their own country with the same expert instructors as the UK programme.

Pastoral:
The college offers an urban setting for students with purpose-built accommodation, furnished tastefully with a contemporary feel. It has an inclusive, internationalist outlook that values student autonomy and academic success. Located in the heart of Cardiff, the capital of Wales, Cardiff Sixth Form College students are able to access the amenities of a city while being guided by qualified, caring staff.

One of the benefits of the college’s city location is the opportunity it provides for students to access a range of work observation placements, which are either essential or highly desirable for their university applications.

Students live together in modern, purpose-built accommodation. All necessary resources are provided and as the accommodation is situated just a 10-minute walk from the college, educational resources and administrative assistance are never far away.

Creative Arts and Sport: During induction week, AS-Level students are invited to join clubs and societies. It may be a sport, music or the arts; it could be discussion-based, or even subject focused, students are strongly recommended to participate. Clubs and societies are a great way to make friends and share interests. If there isn't a club or society that caters for a student’s interests, we encourage students to be creative, form their own societies and attract members.
