Academic: Cardiff Sixth Form College is the top school in the UK.  It has been number one in the UK league tables for A Level results for the past eight years and is highly regarded for its academic reputation.  In 2017, 92% of students gained an incredible A*-A grades and 99% A*-B. 

The College also has great success getting students into top universities not only in the UK but also the US.   In 2017, 19 students gained Oxbridge places, 26 to Imperial, 21 to LSE and 16 to UCL. As well as a staggering 37 who gained places to study medicine, other subjects included dentistry, economics, engineering, accounting and finance, biomedical sciences and law.  There is a very strong careers team and work experience takes place not only in the UK but also in Malaysia and India every year.

Pastoral:Pastoral care at Cardiff is excellent.  As well as house parents, tutors, graduate assistants, subject specialists and student services officers, there is a strong pupil body of house captains, heads of houses, head boys and girls who are there to support first year students.  Every pupil has a buddy from the year above and a whole week of integration takes place at the beginning of term.




Creative Arts and Sport: All students at Cardiff Sixth Form College have membership of the upmarket David Lloyd gym with swimming pools, badminton and tennis courts, gym, fitness classes and personal trainers.  There are football, badminton, netball and basketball teams and an annual sports day held at the National Stadium.

In addition, the popular GLEE club performs an annual theatre production and the Cultural Event held in the spring term gives pupils an opportunity to perform in music, dance and drama.
