This prestigious school provides excellent boarding facilities and pastoral care for students from abroad.

In addition, there are regular social events for all students via our House system, which include music competitions, quiz nights, dinners and trips.

A programme of occasional weekend activities provides opportunities for international students to experience a range of local attractions and includes theatre trips and shopping excursions.

Boarding accommodation is offered in two houses, St John’s (the birthplace of renowned English author Graham Greene, who also attended the School) for girls and Incents for boys. Both houses provide high standards of accommodation, with the majority of bedrooms offering en suite facilities and Wi-Fi access across both boarding houses and campuses.

Sport and Culture:

Berkhamsted Sixth also aims to develop wider interests and skills—academic, cultural, physical and social.  It is a time when the individual can explore ideas and learn to think independently in preparation for university.  Initiative, creativity and the enhancement of business and life skills are strongly encouraged.

Extensive sporting and extra-curricular activities are available to boarders, including free private membership at the School’s Knox-Johnston Sports Centre, which offers a fitness suite, sports hall and 25m swimming pool.
